Cover Up tattoo FAQ
Can any tattoo be covered up?
Most can, but dark or dense pieces need a larger, darker design or some laser lightening first. Send clear photos of the existing tattoo and the artist will tell you what is realistic.
Will the old tattoo show through a cover-up?
A well-planned cover-up hides the original by working its shapes into the new design. The artist chooses subject, size and darkness with that in mind, which is why cover-ups are custom, not flash.
How do I book a cover-up?
Send a custom tattoo request with photos of the existing tattoo, plus the idea and placement. The artist reviews it and replies with what is possible, a quote and dates.
