Private piercing
Private piercing room in Los Angeles, Berkeley & Orange
Our Los Angeles, Berkeley, and Orange studios have a private, closed piercing room for nipple, genital, and any other placement you'd rather not have done on the open floor. Ask for the private room when you book online or when you check in, and the piercer will set up there instead of on the main floor.
Nipple piercings are on every studio's standard menu. Genital piercings are an advanced service: availability depends on the individual piercer's experience, so a consultation or a direct inquiry with the studio comes before booking. Both are 18+ with valid ID.
Nipple piercings cost $40–$50 per placement and genital piercings $140, depending on the studio; jewelry is selected in-studio and priced separately. See prices by studio

Dermal & surface
Dermal piercing & surface anchors
A dermal (microdermal) piercing is a single-point anchor set under the skin with a decorative top that sits flush on the surface — popular on the cheekbone, chest, collarbone, and back. A surface piercing uses a two-point surface bar instead, for placements like the nape or hip.
Because anchors sit in skin rather than through it, placement is judged on your anatomy first and availability depends on the piercer, so contact your studio before booking. Dermal and surface work is 18+, and each studio charges a small fee for anchor changes and removals, including anchors pierced elsewhere.
A single dermal anchor costs $70–$75 and a surface anchor or bar $80–$85, depending on the studio, with jewelry priced separately; a dermal or surface change or removal is $20. See prices by studio

Nipple
Nipple piercing
Nipple piercings are a standard service at all five Baron Art studios, priced per placement so a single side or a pair is your call. Starter jewelry is fitted longer to allow for swelling and downsized once healing settles, and every appointment ends with written aftercare.
Prefer privacy? Los Angeles, Berkeley, and Orange can pierce nipples in a closed private room — just ask when you book. Nipple piercings are 18+ with valid ID, and jewelry (titanium or 14k gold) is chosen in-studio.

Aftercare handoff
- Wash hands thoroughly before touching the piercing.
- Soak with saline solution twice a day for 4 to 6 months during the initial healing stage.
- Dry with clean disposable paper products rather than cloth towels.
- Inspect jewelry ends for tightness after cleaning.
- Avoid baths, pools, hot tubs, gardening, contact with animals, and rough play during healing.
